Congrats to Mr Seah and his wife on getting married today! Happy for him, certainly, but a part of me couldn't help but wonder how would they turn out like 20 years later. Happily ever after? Or like my parents.

As I watched them exchange vows this morning, exchange rings, look each other lovingly in the eye, I realised my parents went through it as well. Probably not the exact same routine but the parts that matter, definitely. I don't really know how the vows go but there's one part that goes like "in poverty or in wealth" and it just really struck me. Started tearing before I realised and hurried stopped it from flowing or it'd be awkward wiping my tears away. I don't understand why if two people decided to commit, eventually they couldn't stick it through, couldn't keep their promise and end up like that today.

Sigh. I figured I'm probably never gonna get married. Maybe I'll be like the girl in 27 dresses who kept being a bridesmaid until one day she found her love and became a bride herself. Haha.

Okay I am very tired. Need to crash. Crunches first! OOOH BABY LOVE CRASH <3

Tata, goodnight. Thank god I'm no longer saddened. Haha.

Muchloves,
Yihui <3
